The assessment is conducted in line with recognised technical regulations and safety judgements.
Solution
The wide range of examined objects primarily refers to interlocking technology (including older technologies) and its components, level crossings and level crossing protection systems, automatic train control systems such as ETCS and others. Audits and expert opinions on processes of planning, project planning, production and verification are conducted.
Result
The CERSS Kompetenzzentrum Bahnsicherungstechnik renders expert opinions on various concerns of railway safety technology. We focus on the proof of safety and function, project inspections and accident reports.
Our Competency
This compentency area is taken over by Prof. Dr.–Ing. Jochen Trinckauf. He is a well-known independent safety assessor with experience of over 30 years recognised by the Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt) with Nr. 22/13/1682. He is also accredited by the railway authorities of the States of Saxony and Brandenburg as well as by courts and technical regulatory authorities.
